Sausalito was most unlucky not to add to his great string of results when a close 2nd on Lingfield All-Weather Vase day, Pestered after taking an early lead and headed, he battled back strongly after 1m4f but was just denied. His mark had gone up from 48 to 67 in 50 days after five wins and a close 3rd and dropping back to 1m2f today, he's up another 3lb. Should be bang there again.
