Fierce has shown steady improvement in his races and last time at Goodwood, on good to soft ground, he was a good second to Yacowlef. Beaten just over two lengths he now meets the winner on 8lb better which should at least bring them together. The ground today will be softer but on the evidence of Goodwood he should handle it. Good each-way chances.
