Spitfire Girl, a daughter of Walk In The Park, was 2nd in three bumpers but took a few runs to get the hang of hurdling. As a result she started handicapping on a nice mark and was just touched off, beaten a short head on debut with a long gap to the third horse. She then disappointed on deep Ffos Las ground which can be excused before running better, staying on for 4th last time out. This step up in trip looks a sensible route and she is not without a chance here if bouncing back.
