Cornicello won twice from 6 starts on the flat over 1m2, and was placed in four hurdle starts last season before taking a nasty fall at the last when looking the most likely winner. He remains a novice hurdler for this season, and that could prove a blessing in disguise. He will have improved for his seasonal debut, and looks nicely handicapped here. Carries a lot of weight, but if he can carry that, then he'd have a decent chance of being in the mix once more.
