Super Survivor is out of a winning half-sister to triple Gold Cup winner Best Mate. He made his pointing debut at Dromahane in May on soft ground, and was only beaten a head with 10 lengths back to the 3rd horse. He jumps well, stays well, and is a proper staying chaser for the future. He won well on his racecourse debut despite being pretty raw and green. He ran to a similar level of form when 2nd last time out under a penalty, and he comes out best on weights today but we hope there is plenty of juice in the ground up here today as he wouldn't appreciate it too quick under foot.
