That was his first run over hurdles and only his second ever race so he was understandably still quite green and his jumping was pretty novicey - but would have learned a lot that day. Daryl gave him a lovely patient ride, allowing him to warm to the task and gain confidence throughout so that he was doing his best work at the end of the race. Guerlain is an embryonic chaser (in time) who is tall and still slightly unfinished, he is a talented horse who will only improve with racing. We are looking forward to another big run - with the Olly Murphy runner looking the one to beat. Guerlain is fairly laid back by nature he is generally good to ride but can throw a few shapes when he’s fresh. He will be ridden by Jonathan Burke."
