Original quote: "Ran well on chase debut at Lingfield last month (2nd) - the winner has since been pulled up in another race so the form is hard to work out at this stage. That aside though we were very happy with him last time and just got a bit sloppy with his jumping late on when getting tired in the heavy ground. Has also improved for that run as it came off a 240-day break too and had 3 weeks to get over it. Similar conditions today but a slightly harder race up in grade. Also had a fair bit of weight the last day (11-10), but now upped in grade slightly will have a fair bit less to carry (10-11), which will help in conditions. Should still go well though and we feel he won't be far away."
