Mofasa is a big chasing type who showed plenty of promise on his first start when fourth at Ffos Las. We gave him plenty of time after that and he has schooled well and matured physically over the summer. The Snowden horse has some good pointing form and looks the one to beat.

Tapley was bought in Ireland after the latest of his point-to-points when he finished a good second and might have won bar a last-fence mistake. A five-year-old by Geordieland, he is sure to stay and has the experience to take a hand against less seasoned rivals. Hopeful each-way.

Dream Composer has been pretty consistent in handicaps of this nature and ran very well when runner-up at Goodwood last time. We are taking 3lb off in a trappy handicap and on similar ground to Goodwood he can hold each-way claims.

Vorashann has a good record on the course and won on his latest start in June when ridden by the same 7lb claimer. Up only 3lb but in a better race, he must have each-way chances.

Well back the last day at Newton Abbot but was in a better race than this. We gave him 2 1/2 months off after that race and should find this a lot easier. The Mullins horse is fearer, while we also get a handy 12lbs off Sheena's in-form runner. Hopeful of a better run today…

Fair flat performer (70 rated) that has won 3 times from 15. Fit from a recent spell in the level but the plan was always to give him a try over the sticks. Schooled well enough and looking forward to seeing how he gets on. If his jumping holds up not without a chance.

The Hughes and Boughey runners have fair form to aim at so a place might be all we can hope for here. Our filly ran well again last time at Kempton (3rd) and kept on well so the extra 1/2 a furlong will help. Luke rides and draw 4 helps. Each-way claims.

Was very consistent in his younger days before finally getting his head in front and then won three chases in relatively quick succession. Although he has struggled off higher marks, he has slipped back to an attractive mark again and after a break he should be competitive again.

Chorlton lane is a very nice horse that has been working well at home. On ability he would be going close today but my 2yr olds have been needing the run badly this year and I would back him with caution.
