He's A Latchico is rated 84 on the flat and despite a couple of victories over jumps last summer, is remarkably well handicapped in comparison over hurdles. It looked as though he was going to take advantage at Sandown last month, but in the testing ground was easily caught by Classic Anthem. Value each-way here.

21st Jan 2024 – RESULT 1st 15/2 – Movethechains – Gary Moore Lingfield
Those four wins in a row from Movethechains all over 3m here seem like an age away but it was only around the turn of the year 2022. His form since can be fairly described as abysmal, but if he is to start a revival, this surely is the most likely place it can happen.

20th Jan 2024 – RESULT 2nd 8/1 – Arctician – Simon Dow Lingfield
Arctician has been reasonably consistent this winter and is still well handicapped. This is competitive and open, but he is drawn well and remains in great shape. He could easily be involved if things go smoothly for him.

20th Jan 2024 – RESULT 3rd 15/2 – Clearpoint – Charlie Fellowes Lingfield
Clearpoint has done very well since joining the yard. He paid the price last time for chasing a highly impressive winner in a race where he probably should have finished 2nd. I think he'll be better for going around a bend and he seems in good order at home.

20th Jan 2024 – RESULT 1st 4/1 – Floating Voter – Ollie Sangster Wolverhampton
Floating Voter ran easily his best race last time out around Kempton, up with the pace for a long way before tiring in the last furlong. He starts handicapping on a fair mark and with another furlong to travel and first-time blinkers he could go very close.

19th Jan 2024 – RESULT 3rd 22/1 – Moliwood – Dylan Cunha Wolverhampton
Moliwood is a talented stayer who was off for more than a year before finishing an excellent 2nd at Chelmsford. He didn't follow it up at Kempton last time but 1m6f around here should be ideal and David Probert is flying at the top of the AW jockey standings. Each-way chances.

18th Jan 2024 – RESULT 3rd 8/1 – Reset Button – B. F. Brookhouse Chelmsford
Reset Button appeared back to his old self at Southwell. He travelled like the winner for much of the race, if not really putting it all in at the finish. We're hoping that stepping him back in trip will suit and so we try again.

17th Jan 2024- RESULT 3rd 5/1 – Confederation – Dylan Cunha Kempton Park
Confederation is very hard to win with but he likes Kempton - he's run well there off much higher marks than tonight's 58. He needs bullying to show his best and has a strong capable amateur on board. Each-way chances.

17th Jan 2024 – RESULT 3rd 4/1 – Bridge – Gary Moore Southwell
Bridge made a big forward step last time easily winning a maiden hurdle at Fontwell. He runs in a jumps handicap for the first time, his 103 mark helped by the 13lb wfa advantage he has against older rivals. Going the right way and could be very competitive.

17th Jan 2024 – RESULT 1st 15/8 – Sangiovese – Gary Moore Southwell
Home-bred Sangiovese did okay in his one bumper, staying on for 2nd in a four-horse race. He has shown only modest form in three qualifying runs over hurdles but is handicapped accordingly and going up in trip should be beneficial. Hopeful.

13th Jan 2024 – RESULT 2nd 11/2 – Junkanoo – Gary Moore Kempton Park
Two runners in this novice hurdle and on their running together at Plumpton last month, Junkanoo ought to come out on top. Decent on the flat, he has made a bright start to jumping and deserves to get his head in front after two 2nd places.

13th Jan 2024 – RESULT 2nd 14/1 – Wild Saffron – Daniel & Claire Kubler Chelmsford
Wild Saffron missed the break badly on debut so didn't gain much from that start, but did better after getting away on terms last time. She was much more involved in the finish in 3rd then and should take another step mentally here.

Asgard's Captain was picked up at the online sale after coming over for two easy wins from his previous connections in Ireland. He starts with us off 14lb higher and is most likely better than this field but pulls really hard and could easily run himself into the ground. He's not easy to deal with…

Twenty Twenty went off at 20/1 in his last race, the 12.20 at Wincanton, and won easily. He now runs in the 3.20 at Huntingdon but won't be anything like that price. He looked good last time though and is fancied to go close again off 5lb higher.

Smoky Malone is coming back after a break; he has been working nicely and this looks an ideal race for him. The one drawback? - he usually needs a run to get in trim, but this looks a weak contest and he might just get away with it.

6th Jan 2024- RESULT 3rd 9/1 – Stintino Sunset – Julia Feilden Kempton Park
Stintino Sunset has been running consistently well since being fitted with a hood. She didn't handle Lingfield last run and this more galloping, level track over this shorter distance will be ideal. If there's plenty of pace on, she should have a good each-way chance.
