Ragosina tried her hand for black type after a pleasing start over hurdles. She wasn't right at Newbury but put in a much better effort at Doncaster even though getting outpaced and clouting the 2nd last. She's stepping up in trip and her big weight allowance gives her a great chance if the favourite falters.

22nd Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 4/1 – Liberated Lad – B. F. Brookhouse Chelmsford
Liberated Lad is more of a turf horse as most of mine are but has been unlucky the last three times on AW. This is the best chance he's had to get his head in front for a while and he seems in great form at home.

RESULT 211.02.24 – RESULT 1st 11/8 – Cephalus – Gary Moore Kempton Park
Cephalus won nicely at Lingfield in December but has been narrowly beaten twice since when favourite. His mark is significantly higher now but if he gets the run of the race he ought to collect in this company.

21st Feb 2024 – RESULT 3rd 25/1 – Caher Roes Den – B. F. Brookhouse Ludlow
Caher Roes Den ran a much better race when a not knocked-about 3rd at Market Rasen behind two horses with more experience. Stepping up half-a-mile in trip should suit and the only possible negative is we're bringing him back rather quickly.

17/02/24 – RESULT 2nd 9/2 – Arctic Dawn – Daniel & Claire Kubler Kempton Park
Arctic Dawn is a colt we like. A big raw type, he has developed well over the winter and should do well this year. He's just ready to start out again, and it's a bit frustrating to be drawn widest of all.

17/02/24 – RESULT 1sr Evens – Roberto Caro – Ollie Sangster Kempton Park
Roberto Caro is no superstar, but he did show promise when 4th on debut at Windsor. That was a long time ago, though, and it's almost like starting again for him tonight. Probably more likely a place than a win candidate.

17th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 5/2 – Botox Has – Gary Moore Haydock
Botox Has made a winning seasonal return in a Grade 2 hurdle at Wetherby and while he probably hasn't matched it on either of his subsequent appearances, they have both been in top company. He has won here in the past and on ratings is the one they have to beat.

17th Feb 2024 – Result 4th 14/1 – Teddy Blue – Gary Moore Ascot
Teddy Blue has yet to match last season's form in his four runs this year, but there were glimmers in his 6th in the competitive Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton. If he maintains the improvement he would have an excellent each-way chance here.

16th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 7/5 – Invincible Nao – Gary Moore Fakenham
The novice handicap chase at Newbury in which Invincible Nao finished 4th to Abuffalosoldier may have carried the same 0-120 bracket at this open handicap chase, but the former ordinarily would be a far tougher contest. Before that, Invincible Nao was a close 3rd at Lingfield, a track that should ready him for a spin…

15th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 13/8 – Farceur Du Large – Jamie Snowden Sandown
Fareur Du Large had a busy career in Ireland before joining us and his impressive win in the Grand Military Gold Cup over today's course and distance. After initially winning a couple of chases, he struggled, but then again in such as the Irish Grand National, Midlands National and the Galway Plate. From a high…

15th Feb 2024 – RESULT 3rd 9/1 – Hardy Du Seuil – Jamie Snowden Sandown
Hardy Du Seuil won novice chases as a 4yo but we sent him back hurdling last season when he won a valuable handicap around here and was narrowly beaten on a couple of occasions. He had a setback in the autumn but came back in a far bigger, stronger individual. It's now time to send…

14th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 9/4 – Time To Dazzle – Gary Moore Fontwell Park
Time To Dazzle had three educational runs at Newbury last season. His opening mark of 94 didn't look too demanding and he made a good start to handicapping when 2nd at Uttoxeter. Raised 1lb for that, this looks a good opportunity.

14th Feb 2024 – RESULT 2nd 7/2 – Torneo – Jamie Snowden Fontwell Park
Torneo was a useful performer on the flat in France, earning a rating equating to 84. He was 2nd on hurdling debut, then a good 3rd in a decent race at Kempton over Christmas. He bolted up in a weak race at Wetherby and starts handicapping off a very workable mark. With his huge weight…

13th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 13/8 – Yellow Star – Gary Moore Lingfield
Yellow Star ran a very promising 3rd to the highly-regarded Paul Nicholls/Sir Alex Ferguson et al Kalif Du Berlais at Kempton as an 80/1 shot. That was his hurdles and stable debut. This company should be more to his liking. Each-way chance.

12th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 7/2 – Milldam – Jamie Snowden Catterick
Milldam disappointed on his seasonal reappearance last autumn but appreciated dropping back to 2m on a deep surface at Ffos Las in December and won quite impressively. He didn't appear to get home over 2m3.5f at Wetherby so he's back to 2m again here. This is a qualifier for the series and in a competitive…

RESULT – 12th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 6/5 – Kotmask – Gary Moore Plumpton
Kotmask has been pretty consistent since going over fences and seems to be on the upgrade judged by the style of his latest win at Sandown. Raised 7lb for that, he meets other in-form opponents in a small field, but we're very hopeful he can maintain the progress.,

10th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 3/1 – Twirler – Charlie Fellowes Newcastle
Twirler ran a cracker last time out, just failing to get up against a couple of nice types. She has run very well at Newcastle in the past and seems in great order at home. The draw could have been kinder but it shouldn't be an issue in this field.

9th Feb 2024 – RESULT 1st 9/2 – Heaven Smart – Gary Moore Kempton Park
Four non-runners put a different slant on this handicap chase. Heaven Smart was a beaten favourite and slightly disappointing last time, but has heavy ground form. First-time blinkers can help get him over the line in front.
