Since coming back from a short break in late December, Cephalus has won three times at a mile, starting at Lingfield, then after a couple of reverses, at Kempton and Southwell. He's 19lb higher than when the run started but is in great form and may well give it another good go.

21st Mar 2024 – RESULT 1st 5/6 – La Marquise – Jamie Snowden Chepstow
La Marquise is by an exciting young French sire Beaumec De Houelle, a son of the great Martaline. She looked well above average when winning on debut at Stratford in November on soft ground. She then disappointed in the Listed bumper at Cheltenham on New Year's Day when the only female in the race, but…

21st Mar 2024 – RESULT 1st 9/1 – Double Click – Jamie Snowden Chepstow
Double Click won successive races last spring but went through a disappointing spell either side of his summer break. He has the ability to win again and this is pretty low-grade stuff. He handles soft ground and 2m seems to be his trip so he's not wiithout an each-way chance if things fall his way.

20th Mar 2024 – RESULT 1st 4/6 – Golden Maverick – Jamie Snowden Haydock
Golden Maverick was rated 83 on the flat after winning five times at up to 1m2f. He has taken well to jumping but was very green on debut, albeit 2nd to a promising individual. Next time, he got a fair bit back in the pack and although he stayed on strongly, he couldn't get to…

19th Mar 2024 – RESULT 2nd 11/2 – Iconic Muddle – Gary Moore Exeter
Iconic Muddle, though an 11yo, shows no signs of reduced ability. He has been runner-up in all three starts this season and may well enjoy dropping back from 3m to 2m4f today. The one to beat.

17th Mar 2024 – RESULT 2nd 7/1 – Longhouse Legacy – B. F. Brookhouse Huntingdon
Longhouse L:egacy is a slow burner but he is progressing and ran an improved race last time. I think he has taken a step forward in his work at home since then and is in good form. He sets a fair standard.

17th Mar 2024 – RESULT 2nd 4/1 – Regarde – Jamie Snowden Huntingdon
Placed twice over hurdles last season, we always had the strapping Regarde marked out for a career over fences. He won well in a handicap chase on debut in the autumn and made light of a 6lb rise next time tackling an inadequate trip. The 12lb rise he got for that seemed harsh but he…

16th Mar 2024 RESULT -3rd 22/1 – Lightning Maqueen – Gary Moore Kempton Park
Lightning Maqueen shaped with promise on debut in a reasonable Newbury bumper. He's one to keep an eye on, but there's a number in this with superior racecourse form.

15th Mar 2024 – RESULT 3rd 10/1 – Salver – Gary Moore Cheltenham
Salver has put together a four-timer over hurdles and if does rain that would give him an excellent chance as he likes it proper soft. He looked very good at Haydock last time and if conditions are right for him, he'll go there with a big chance.

14th Mar 2024 – 2nd 33/1 – Git Maker – Jamie Snowden Cheltenham
Twice successful in his four chases as a novice last winter, we expected Git Maker to enjoy a good time in high-class handicaps this season. He won on his return at Lingfield, but jumped left spoiling his chance at Ascot last time out when he also found the ground too quick. Winner of six of…

13th Mar 2024 – 2nd 14/1 – Bradman – Charlie Fellowes Newcastle
Bradman is ultra-consistent and runs off his true mark after twice being out of the handicap. He should like Newcastle as he stays all day and will be thereabouts again.

11th Mar 2024 – RESULT 1st 9/1 – Hollygrove Cha Cha – Jamie Snowden Stratford upon Avon
Well-connected pedigree-wise, newcomer Hollygrove Cha Cha had a year's pre-training before joining us. She has done plenty for this debut but will obviously improve mentally and physically for the run. There are some highly talked-of horses that cost plenty from the Irish point field in this, but we think our mare has ability. She shouldn't…

Milldam has been in great form this season, winning twice in four starts, each time at 2m on soft ground. Up 3lb for the last one where the form is working out well, he should again be competitive in what looks a strong contest.
