Gordon Grey was taken on for the lead the other day when in addition he needed the run. I'm not sure Lingfield is his track either. He came out of the race well and back around a track he prefers, we have to give him a decent chance.

Old Cowboy is a nicely-bred recruit from the English pointing field. He ran okay both times and we're looking forward to this Rules debut.

Patrol should win. He ran two good races for us including when a close 3rd over this CD before getting his head in front at Southwell. Up 3lb, he is the one they have to beat.

Course winner Double Click made a pleasing return to action when 3rd at Leicester at the beginning of last month but was outpaced in a better race over Christmas. Regular partner Will Featherstone takes off 7lb in this race where he steps up in trip. Proven in deep ground, he should have each-way chances here.

Dark Mystery ran a solid race over the course and distance just over two weeks ago. He was beaten a neck by today's rival Altheim and has come out of that race in good form. Hopefully, he can turn around that verdict on the revised terms.

Doc McCoy won on hurdling debut but after finishing 4th under a penalty, picked up an injury and was off for almost a year before returning last month. He badly needed the run then and will improve for more chasing experience, but there is decent prizemoney on offer here.
