Spice is a big horse who had a few outings on the flat achieving a couple of thirds, it’s hard to imagine him running as a two year old though so he must have been backward. First run for us after coming from the Brian Meehan yard. Has settled in well and is a horse that takes a lot of work and he is having a spin on the flat to put him spot on to begin his hurdling career in the coming months. He has schooled well. Is a nice horse to deal with, he’s pretty laid back but can occasionally be strong on the gallops. Tom rides and takes off 5lbs which also helps. Hopefully one to note during the winter and once facing a hurdle."
