No win but still took another step forward in this better race. Original quote: "Cap St Vincent - In great order at the moment after winning his last two in convincing fashion. Up 7lbs for the last of those wins and up in grade here but could not be in better form and deserves to take his chance in this higher graded race. Conditions are ideal and a nice pot up for grabs. Softer ground here than recent runs so a bit to prove on that score but hopeful he'll handle it. We'll see if he's up to the rise in grade but - as I say - in great heart so every chance of going well again."
