Torneo was a useful performer on the flat in France, earning a rating equating to 84. He was 2nd on hurdling debut, then a good 3rd in a decent race at Kempton over Christmas. He bolted up in a weak race at Wetherby and starts handicapping off a very workable mark. With his huge weight for age allowance, he has a lot in his favour.
