Haddex Des Obeaux won a handicap hurdle in October last year after arriving from France but then had almost a year off before unseating at the last on his debut over fences at Newton Abbot when looking held. He did much better last month when 2nd at Kempton and should be ready to go one better in this tricky handicap chase.
