By Westerner, the sire of multiple Grade 1 jumpers, out of a sister to four black-typed horses: Group-placed 1m4f winner Armand, Guilder (Grade 2), Rock Gone (Grade 3), and useful winner Goss (Grade 2). He was 2nd in a bumper last season and was 2nd on his hurdling debut too, and although he didn’t have much luck afterwards, I’d like to think he can progress over fences this season. He ran well enough on seasonal debut when 3rd, but he didn't get into a good jumping rhythm that day.....if he can today, then he'd have a decent chance.
