Stayed on well to take third. Original quote: "Yet to win a race from 8 runs, but this is a poor race into a Classified Stakes and we come here as the joint top-rated in the field. Hasn't quite been seeing out the 1m trip at Southwell on the fibresand the last twice, so the drop back to 7f here will suit. A fair draw in 5 helps too and George helps again in the saddle by taking off 7lbs. We are also trying the cheekpieces for the first time to see if they eke out a bit more improvement. Overall, still have a bit to prove at the moment and this looks competitive for the grade, but being a low-grade affair you probably can't rule out any of them - it's one of those races!!"
