Stayed on well to take third at 7/1. Original quote: "Had his problems over the years but had a wind op around this time last year and we've taken our time with him since. Ran well last month on his first run back when a close fourth at Warwick to an improving chaser of Jonjos - a few jumping errors that day but to be expected after a long break. 2lbs lower here and Richard Johnson takes over in the saddle, which is an obvious plus - Dickie has ridden this horse to 5 of his 6 career wins! Seems to have improved for that run at home too and another solid run on the cards. Also a CD winner here at Carlisle, when winning this race a few seasons ago - acts on any ground and is only 3lbs higher than when winning this race 2 years back by 10 lengths."
