Gavin gave him a patient ride on that occasion because he can be very keen when he’s fresh but they went a good gallop in the race so he actually settled nicely. Alan will improve for that outing but he is carrying top weight today and he’s not over big. Alan is a sweet horse at home although he can be strong on the gallops. He will be ridden by Gavin Sheehan. Open affair but if building on that last run should have fair e/w chances."
