Idyllic has been crying out for a step up in trip for a while but it made sense to wait for handicaps to do it. She should have no problems going around Wolves and she is well drawn too. She can go well tonight.

Icare Grandchamp ran well over hurdles at Fontwell in September, holding on well for 2nd after making the running. He was less impressive in two subsequent runs, the latter a debut over fences. He needs to do better.

Tronido is a rangy filly who races a little freely and is still inexperienced. She showed just enough in maidens and this distance and track could well suit her in her first start in a handicap. She needs to keep a lid on it throughout the preliminaries but she could get involved if things go…

Muy Muy Guapo is a frustrating maiden who has now dropped to the bottom of the handicap. This trip possibly stretches him a bit but he can be slowly away, so could be staying on. Cheek-pieces might bring about a change of fortune and he badly needs to get his confidence. Has plenty of ability.

Expressionless won a couple in the spring of last year, but like Cerulean Summer, hasn't really got back to that yet in in 2024. Place hopes, but not obvious ones off top-weight.

Pure Of Heart was a shade disappointing last time in a better-class race at Ascot. Stepping up in trip will help and she ought to have an each-way chance. 

Like Mart, Asgard's Captain couldn't be made any fitter but I'm not sure the Epsom track will suit him. He's honest and always gives his best, but he will need a lot to go right for him to feature in this competitive handicap.

Redhot Whiser put in a better run the last day. Hopefully, the faster pace in a classy handicap will suit as should the slight increase in distance. He is in good form at home.

Jessie Lightfoot made it two wins out of three since rejoining us this year with a nice victory at Stratford. She seems to be handling the rises in her mark very well and we're hopeful she can make it three from four today.

Silastar won almost to the day a year ago at Leicester. He's done nothing in three runs this year to suggest he's anywhere near another win, but this is a pretty ordinary contest.

Cindysox ran promisingly on her first racecourse start in a bumper in October 2022. Mart ended a sequence of 2nd places with an emphatic win, returned to turf at Newmarket. Now back at Lingfield's AW track where he's run plenty of good races, we have to be hopeful of a follow-up.

Rockymountainway was unlucky last time out where a wide draw scuppered her chances. She has lots of speed so six furlongs shouldn't be a problem and she should handle the track. She can run well today.

Shadowofyoursmile ran well at Donny on horrendous ground. Although I think she wants some cut, that was probably too soft and she should enjoy today's conditions far more. The track is ideal and we have a top jockey booked,

Call Off The Dogs had been gradually coming back to form and he announced it with a six-length win in a four-horse race over 2m2f here a couple of weeks back. The 6lb rise should not inconvenience him, nor should the slightly longer trip. Very hopeful.

Kodi Lion was a decent winner of an average race at Catterick last time. He loves soft ground and this looked the obvious place for him after that. He is in good order at home and can go well today.

Way To Dubai was a touch disappointing last time but that was off the back of a break and I think the ground was plenty quick enough. He should love the going today and will come on for that run. Cheek-pieces should help him too.
