In The Air has been lightly-raced since coming over from France early last year, but he has won a race and was not disgraced when 2nd at Taunton in March. Top-weight in a trappy race, he could be dangerous.

Cumulonimbus was a shade disappointing on debut this year, but very little went his way that day. Newmarket should suit him and any rain we get will be a plus

We run two here and He's A Latchico might well have been let in quite leniently. A 70-plus flat performer, he starts handicapping after his three qualifying runs on only 86 and if he gets it right first time, he could take plenty of beating.

Atwixaday started at long (and even longer) prices in his three runs last year. He showed next to nothing yet is 2lb above the upper limit for this 0-60  handicap. We hope he's improved over the winter and in a modest contest, he could figure on the season's return.

Bucko's Boy made a decent start to his career winning a bumper and maiden hurdle but while largely consistent since going into decent handicap company, he has found winning quite elusive. He deservedly got his head in front at Newton Abbot last summer and can continue to progress. He needed his recent comeback run but…

A winner of his sole run in a French AQPS flat race, Angel's Dream has been third in two very competitive novice hurdles since arriving here. Love Is Golden and then Brentford Hope were the winners and there is nothing of that calibre in opposition today. Decent chance.

Royaume Uni was taken out of a flat race at Ascot the other day owing to too-testing ground. It should have dried out a fair bit here and he has a decent chance of making the switch pay off.

Percy's Lad broke the track record over this course and distance last summer and this race has been a long-term target. He has form on all ground so that shouldn't be an issue but stall 13 could well be.

Tawalla ran really well recently at Catterick and I'm hopeful he can take another step forward. Six furlongs should suit and he should have no problem handling the track.

Semser has come back from a winter break with two runs around Lingfield. On the latter occasion, he set a strong pace that helped Sausalito win again and he was sold for a handsome 50k at Newmarket HIT last week. Semser is down 4lb over the two runs and that could bring him right into…

Court In The Act ran respectably on an unsuitable surface at Wincanton on his bumper debut. We declared him on good to firm but it chucked it down before the race, so on watered ground it became desperate. It was sloppy so he sort of coped with it but he has a proper good ground…

Donald Llewellyn has won twice around here since returning after a long absence, over 1m4f and then 2m. He disappointed on a return visit at the longer trip two weeks later, when perhaps we were bringing him back too quickly. Chances if in the earlier mood.

Mark Of Gold has not run on the flat for almost two years but is fit from hurdling and won two runs back at Kempton. There is a massive disparity between his respective handicap marks and he is potentially thrown in here if he remembers what to do without seeing an obstacle!

Novus did well to win a Newbury juvenile maiden at the third time of asking and started handicapping this year on 82. She never got involved after a slow start on her comeback at Newmarket but off the same mark today,  can strip fitter and has an each-way chance.

Vadream is in cracking form but has to have cut in the ground. We had plenty of rain last night so it will be interesting to see the official going description this morning. If it's good to soft or softer she will go there with a huge chance over a trip I'm excited to try.

Fix At All has done nothing wrong since switching to hunter-chasing. This does look a deeper race but he comes here in good heart. Conditions should be fine but with the concern that he's going left-handed and tends to go slightly right. Having won his last two he deserves to have a go at this.
