Hello Zabeel was disappointing last time out at Chelmsford but he had been on the go for a long time and I think he needed a freshen-up. He should love conditions today and 6f at Windsor is ideal for him. Hopefully, he can get back on track today.

Desfondado looks to be coming to hand and ran well enough in a warm novice event last start. It will be an easier task back in a handicap and he could go well at a big price if things go smoothly for him. He is sure to find his races as the season progresses.

Inquisitively works nicely at home but in a big field, he's not only taking on some fellow newcomers from good stables but a trio that has already shown promise. It will be tough to match them first time out.

Helm Rock ran a solid race at a similar level last time. The ground would be as fast as he wants it but they always produce a high-quality surface at Sandown and he's run well there a couple of times. The champion jockey aboard will do no harm to his chances in an open-looking race.

Silastar ran away to a 12-length victory at Leicester and in that context, we should probably be a little relieved at his new mark being only 7lb higher. If anywhere nearer the form of last time he will be very hard to beat.

We run two here and He's A Latchico might well have been let in quite leniently. A 70-plus flat performer, he starts handicapping after his three qualifying runs on only 86 and if he gets it right first time, he could take plenty of beating.

Atwixaday started at long (and even longer) prices in his three runs last year. He showed next to nothing yet is 2lb above the upper limit for this 0-60  handicap. We hope he's improved over the winter and in a modest contest, he could figure on the season's return.

Royaume Uni was taken out of a flat race at Ascot the other day owing to too-testing ground. It should have dried out a fair bit here and he has a decent chance of making the switch pay off.

Percy's Lad broke the track record over this course and distance last summer and this race has been a long-term target. He has form on all ground so that shouldn't be an issue but stall 13 could well be.

Tawalla ran really well recently at Catterick and I'm hopeful he can take another step forward. Six furlongs should suit and he should have no problem handling the track.
