Inneston hasn't yet matched his excellent home work with performances on the track. A beaten favourite both at Newbury and then Fontwell where a last-flight mistake proved costly, he starts handicapping on what could be a very fair mark. Hopeful.

La Rav returns after a 10-week break and has a nice draw which will be a big help. He missed the break badly last time at Lingfield having won there the time before. Clifford Lee takes over from an inexperienced apprentice and we have a good each-way chance in a wide-open affair.

Rose King went through the ring for 80k as a yearling and twice within a month at breeze-up sales last year for 70k and then at Goresbridge for just 4k! We won with a first-time starter Create here last week, but it might be asking too much for lightning to strike twice. 

Yorksea has been only lightly-raced but looked good when winning at Fontwell last time. Along with Teddy Blue, he forms a decent dual challenge in a race we've always liked to target with a progressive younger hurdler.

Daphne May has been running over 6f and 7f since joining the stable and her mark has dropped from 60 to 48 as she has been lacking the pace to get involved. She had form over further before joining us and I hope going up to a mile is sufficient for her to make the…

Love Is Golden, our more experienced runner in this, had a flat rating of 85 with Charlie and Mark Johnston. He won four of his races and stayed 1m4f well, so should do well over hurdles. Looking for a positive start.

Stormingin has reached the veteran stage but still retains a little ability. He was no match for our Big Jimbo at Kempton last week but this low-grade amateur riders' race might be more to his liking. Place chances hopefully.

Engrave has come out of her win at Newcastle in great shape. That was a bonus as she had never previously won anywhere other than at Chelmsford. She is up in grade for her return "home" tonight but has a feather weight and few of the opposition have been running to form. Also, the one…

Create has a nice pedigree but starts her career with a difficult draw in 9 of 12. We hope she can show promise for the future in this restricted maiden race.

We bought Parikarma from the Ed Dunlop stable at last year's July Sale and were delighted when she won a couple of low-grade handicaps during October. We liked the look of her first try over hurdles when 4th in a big field at Lingfield and she can take another step forward in this mares' race.

Abingworth had been making steady improvement in his hurdles runs but his last effort at Plumpton was a backward step. He was already dropping away when falling three from home. His chance, first try in a handicap in a hands and heels race, is hard to weigh up.

I Am Gonna Be hasn't done much wrong in her bumpers and two novice hurdle runs. The ground and trip should be ideal for her today and there's a chance 109 might be quite a good mark for her the way some of her form has worked out.

Kalpaga is a lovely type at home but she has has been disappointing to date. I'm hoping the drop in grade will help and with everything in her favour today, she could spring a surprise.

Amidnightstar is a nice big filly who showed promise in an early bumper run. The better ground should help her step up on her last two efforts. That should give her a small each-way chance.

Hello Zabeel won nicely last time at Southwell but he picked up a niggle afterwards and that's why we've not seen him on the track for three months. He seems in good order at home and I'm pretty sure he is still ahead of his mark. Ryan Moore on board is always a help.

It's been almost a year since Capricorn Prince gained the last of his four course wins at Lingfield, although he wasn't beaten far last time at Chelmsford six weeks ago. This a deep race but it will be great to have Ryan available to ride him today. Obvious each-way chance in an open race.

Skinflint is still a maiden but he has been consistent. He has small place claims today as he will enjoy the drying ground.

Kentucky Kingdom likes it around here and is down to a nice handicap mark. He should be thereabouts.

The penny is dropping with Mintana now. She's a likable and pretty fast filly who should give a give account once more. Big chance.
