Six O' Hearts was far from disgraced over course and distance last month when after a slow start he finished close behind the leaders in a creditable sixth. That was only his second run in a handicap and off 3lb lower, with a better start he could figure at the finish tonight.

Oscarsman had been off the track for two years before what in the circumstances was a creditable return here two weeks ago. Hopefully he will have come on for that and we can get a clear run with him from now on.

Ozzie Man returned after a year off at Plumpton recently and on chase debut did well to win narrowly. Up just 1lb for that in what's now a four-horse race, we have to be hopeful of a follow-up.

Walk In The Wild joined us recently and makes his debut over fences after a longish time off. A fair maiden hurdler, we will know more about him after today.

Saligo Bay ran well the other day at Fakenham and overall has been very consistent. He ran well on soft going last season and while the ground today will be very testing, we are hopeful he can handle it. Big chance.

L'Enclume unfortunately hasn't quite gone on as we had hoped from her novice win in January. She has trained nicely after a little freshen up and I'm hopeful she will stay the extra distance tonight. If she does, she could easily outrun her odds.
