Aira Force has progressed with each start. She was a good second last time in a similar race at Kempton. Another step forward would give her a good chance here. This is a big field and her draw in the middle of the pack could have been better, but it also could have been worse.

Second runner for us in the race and debut run for us after coming from the Ed Dunlop yard. Just the one win from 38 races tells a story, but as a result has dropped to a career-low mark of just 49 - which is 21lbs lower than when winning. Back also from 3 1/2…

Mofasa is a big chasing type who showed plenty of promise on his first start when fourth at Ffos Las. We gave him plenty of time after that and he has schooled well and matured physically over the summer. The Snowden horse has some good pointing form and looks the one to beat.

Tapley was bought in Ireland after the latest of his point-to-points when he finished a good second and might have won bar a last-fence mistake. A five-year-old by Geordieland, he is sure to stay and has the experience to take a hand against less seasoned rivals. Hopeful each-way.

Dream Composer has been pretty consistent in handicaps of this nature and ran very well when runner-up at Goodwood last time. We are taking 3lb off in a trappy handicap and on similar ground to Goodwood he can hold each-way claims.

Vorashann has a good record on the course and won on his latest start in June when ridden by the same 7lb claimer. Up only 3lb but in a better race, he must have each-way chances.
