Don't Tell Claire won this race last year off just 1lb lower but she's had a series of hard-luck stories this season. She will need everything to go right and be at the top of her game as there are some improving types who have already shown plenty of ability.

It's ages since Harbour Vision last won but he has been running consistently of late. If he could match his run two outings back when runner-up here behind Helm Rock he would represent excellent each-way value.

2nd Sep 2022 – 1st 11/4 – Moondial – Daniel & Claire Kubler Kempton Park

Drops back a furlong, has run competitively since switched to nurseries over seven and a mile and should once again be involved. The small drop in class hopefully enough to make the difference.

2nd Sep 2022 – 1st 5/2 – Rose Fandango – Scott Dixon Haydock

Running well at the moment but is yet to win on the turf. That said, has only had 2 runs on the grass and was a solid second here at Haydock three runs back. Only 2lbs higher here but the drop back from 7f to a mile will help. If running to that form again…

1st Sep 2022 Result 3rd 16/1 – Seven Brothers – Scott Dixon Windsor

Fair debut run for us at Haydock the last day when 4th of 17. Down a pound for that here helps but this looks another tough and competitive race. Probably handicapped about right though so would likely need to find a bit from somewhere as been in and around this mark for a while now…
