Still running well, Croeso Cwmraeg followed a win at Ripon with a solid close fifth at Carlisle under his penalty. He was raised by that amount - 4lb - and as he remains in great form at home, this eight-year-old should be thereabouts again tonight.

Marbaan is a lovely two-year-old who couldn't have been more impressive at Nottingham. He should love the step up to seven furlongs and I am hoping he can win today before moving into something decent.

Has been in great form recently at Brighton, she was unlucky not to win last time and has come out of the race well. Up in grade here but fillies handicap so a bit weaker. Rose Dawes has won on her twice and takes off a handy 7lbs. She should be thereabouts again over C&D.

Not really been lasting out over 6f this season so the drop back to 5f here will help. Ran well here over this trip two runs back and is off the same mark. Each-way chance but may need a bit of luck in-running from draw 11 of 11.

Ran a fair race last time out at Chester in a much better race than this. Dropped 3lbs here and also down in grade into a Class 6 race means he can't be ruled out off this career-low mark. Seems to be coming good and confident of a better run.

Still to win a race from 15 runs so hard to get too excited based on that. Does also need to bounce back from an average run here over 6f last time. Down 3lbs helps though and a much better draw in 1 give some hope.
