We bought Areeha, a Shadwell filly, out of Sir Michael Stoute's stable at Tatts' February sale. She has been running well without managing to get her head in front but maybe Ryan can get her over the line. That would be nice as she's in the December sale.

30th Oct 2021 – 1st 9/1 – Larry – Gary Moore Ascot
Larry has been lightly raced the past couple of seasons but made a promising return at Fakenham, taken out late on by a loose horse when still in contention. He is much lower in the handicap than previously and runs well here so could spring a surprise.

Ex-French Nassalam started his juvenile career with two impressive wins and was far from disgraced when tenth of 22 under top-weight on his final start in the Boodles Handicap Hurdle at the Festival. He goes novice chasing in this competitive handicap but has the benefit of the 10lb weight-for-age advantage four-year-olds enjoy over their elders…

28th Oct 2021 – 1st 5/1 – Legends Ryde – Jamie Snowden Ffos Las
Legends Ryde is out of a mare who won the Mares' Final at Newbury. She won a bumper and was then second in the Listed bumper at Cheltenham before Covid interrupted her progress. Since then she's struggled with her wind and also an irregular heart beat, but hopefully those problems are behind her. She's back…

Anificas Beauty has shaped promisingly on both starts and as a daughter of Exceed And Excel should like the all-weather. The favourite will be tough to beat but our filly could easily challenge for a place.

Gris Gris Top joined us from Ireland where he was second in a point and then a bumper, He is a big horse who does things well at home and looks a staying chaser in the making. Soft ground should not be an issue with him but this does look a very hot novice hurdle.…

Mrs Meader has excuses for her last two runs - she doesn't like the all-weather and Haydock was too firm - but she was beaten by only a nose the time before at Windsor. That was a similar race to today's and she is working well at home and the ground is ideal so we…

27th Oct 2021 – 2nsd 12/1 – Dark Shot – Scott Dixon Nottingham
Dark Shot used his early pace to dominate at Catterick yesterday and won with a bit in hand. That made it a hat-trick and if he's none the worse when we trot him up this morning he'll go for the four-timer and I wouldn't put it past him.

Rtaed 90 when joining us from Jim Bolger and starting off that mark in the summer, Cuban Hope is now as low as 64. That means he's been showing very little but I would not be shocked if he shaped a little better today.

26th Oct 2021 – 1st 11/2 – Dark Shot – Scott Dixon Catterick
Dark Shot has refound his form as an eight-year-old winning the last two by fully ulitising his tremendous early speed. He is only up 3lb for his course and distance win last time and with the ground riding soft it won't be a hindrance having a wide draw as they often come down the stands…

26th Oct 2021 – 1st 17/2 – Eva’s Oskar – Tim Vaughan Chepstow
Eva's Oskar has been a great servant and while he comes here with plenty of chase experience he needs to bounce back to form. He has dropped to a winnable mark and has won at Chepstow but much will depend on how some of the opposition are improving in relation to him.

26th Oct 2021 – 1st 11/10 – Representing Bob – Jamie Snowden Bangor

Justcallmepete is a well-bred juvenile having his first run. He starts off against some useful types and as he is still a bit backward we are not expecting great things today. He has ability though and should show up well for a long way. His family generally improve as three-year-olds.
